I met Scott Bridi aka Brooklyn Cured last year at Village Voice’s Choice Eats. He was serving pastrami and I remember going back for thirds. Yep.
His sausages are inventive and obviously delicious! I bought a pack of Japanese sausages few weeks ago and almost ate the whole pack in one sitting. Scott had previously worked at Gramercy Tavern and Marlow and Daughters, so you know he has major mad skills.
The night that I went, the Brooklyn Cured crew was breaking down few turkeys, making pastrami, smoking sausages and roasting some delicious looking hams. Scott even showed off his sausage making skills.
